The non-profit organization basketballMAUI hosts a Grand Slam week of five events featuring NBA players and celebrities.
The lineup of events includes the following:
- Friday, June 20, Linsanity movie night (free)
- Monday to Friday, June 22 to 26, Next Level Camp: Cost is $125, but there are scholarships available. Click here to print a camp registration form
- Thursday, June 25, basketballMaui Celebrity Golf Classic at the Wailea Golf Club Gold Course. Cost is $250 per player and includes green fees, swag bag, grab-and-go breakfast and closing reception. All proceeds to support youth programs at basketballMAUI.
- Thursday, June 25, Poker with the Pros at the Grand Wailea: Guests get to meet and greet celebrity players including a lineup of NBA Stars, professional athletes and local celebrities like Anthony Tolliver from the Detroit Pistons, CJ Watson from the Indiana Pacers, The Dunk King Kenny Dobbs and Brett Gorney, PGA Pro. Cost is $150.
- Saturday, June 27, (5 p.m.) Night of Shooting Stars: at the Wailea Tennis Club. CJ Watson (Indiana Pacers), Anthony Tolliver (Detroit Pistons), Garrett Temple (Washington Wizards), Malcom Thomas (Philadelphia 76ers), Jeremy Tyler (New York Knicks), Kenny Dobbs (Dunk Champion), Mike Penberthy (Former Los Angeles Laker), Derreck Low (International Pro), Brett Gorney (PGA Pro), Julian Sensley (International Pro), Kalani Ahmad (International Basketball Performer), Kashif Watson (International Pro), Kristen Ledlow (Host of NBA Inside Stuff), Ryan Appleby (Skills Trainer), and more will be in attendance. Cost is $20 presale and $30 at the door.
