The “Tai Chi for Arthritis Program,” developed by Dr. Paul Lam, is based on his personal experience of how tai chi helped relieve his own osteoarthritis pain. Exercise is an essential part of managing the pain and stiffness caused by arthritis.

While some tai chi forms require that students complete a complex series of movements with perfect form, “Tai Chi for Arthritis” participants are asked to do their best and have fun.

A $20 registration fee supports the Maui Historical Society.
