Pennsylvania Woman Pulled from Waters off Beach in Wailea

A 76 year-old visitor from Reading, Pennsylvania was transported to the hospital after being pulled from waters in South Maui on Saturday morning, June 20, 2015.
The incident was reported at 10:37 a.m. at Ulua Beach in Wailea.
Wailea firefighters arrived at 10:42 a.m. to find bystanders performing CPR on the woman, according to department reports.
Maui Fire Services Officer Edward Taomoto said beach goers brought the woman to shore when they noticed her floating unresponsive on the surface with snorkel gear.

The woman was rushed to the Maui Memorial Medical Center by Medics. Her condition was unavailable at last report.
