Veteran Maui Officer Arrested Again, This Time on Mainland

A veteran Maui officer who was arrested earlier this month for operating a vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, was picked up again, this time for being drunk in public in Newport Beach, California.
The new arrest was made at around 4:36 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015.
Police say, John Salomon, 39, of Pukalani, was arrested by the Newport Beach Police Department for drunk in public.
Salomon is a three veteran of the Maui Police Department. At the time of this incident Salomon was on unpaid, Administrative Leave. Bail was set at $500.
