Hui No‘eau Wailea Food & Wine Celebration Slated for Nov. 14
The center is located on Baldwin Avenue below Makawao. When the Hui No‘eau Wailea Food and Wine Celebration began nine years ago, the concept was to share a small piece of the hui with South Maui patrons, building and expanding community through the arts. The idea has evolved since its 2007 inaugural year through the contributions of Maui’s top restaurants, which invite their chefs to create small plates that are paired with a range of superb wines.
The event will be held in the Anuhea Room at Hotel Wailea. The evening will feature a silent auction and generous tastes by the island’s top chefs and vintners—a wide selection of wines paired specifically with the chefs’ menus to perfectly complement each dish.
The evening will include wine tastings from MauiWine at ‘Ulupalakua and delectable tastes by Migrant, Cuatro, Ka‘ana Kitchen, Three’s Bar & Grill and more.
Standard tickets are $150; VIP tickets are $275 (a portion of the ticket price is tax-deductible).
Tickets are limited and on sale now online or by calling (808) 572-6560 today.
Sponsors and supporters include Hotel Wailea, Chambers & Chambers, MauiWine, Cuatro Migrant, Ka’ana Kitchen, Three’s Bar and Grill and Mieko Photography.
Hui No‘eau is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, non-degree granting, community-based arts education organization. The Hui offers open access to quality visual arts opportunities to over 17,000 artists, adults, youth, community members and visitor annually.
The hui is located at 2841 Baldwin Ave.
