Member of Sheraton Maui Team Gets a Promotion

The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa has promoted Sharon Soriano to Manager of Restaurants and Bars.
As an integral part of the food and beverage team, Soriano will drive the overall guest experience at the property’s poolside outlets, Cliff Dive Grill and Mai Tai Bar. She will also work alongside Black Rock Kitchen General Manager Ener Cruz to operate Black Rock Lounge, the late-night weekend destination that features spinning DJs, themed nights and extended hours.
“Sharon has been a great asset to our team at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa,” says Tetsuji Yamazaki, general manager of the resort. “Her strong leadership skills will continue to drive success with the food and beverage team to exceed our guests’ expectations.”
Soriano has served in a number of roles at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa since 2012, including hosthelp, cashier, waithelp and fountain dispenser. She has also been working as shift supervisor and assistant manager at the Kahului Airport’s food and beverage outlets.
