West: Wave heights ankle/knee high are expected today. Spots shadowed by other islands will be flat.
South: The south-southwest is expected to bring knee/thigh high waves today. Spots open to the trade swell could get up to waist/chest high.
Small SSW swell is expected to continue today. Another new minor south-southwest swell is expected to move in Thursday.
Trade winds will continue to generate short-period surf along east facing shores. Another larger pulse is expected midweek and forecast to peak Wednesday afternoon and Thursday.
We are looking at fading swell from Niala.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
