The Mahinahina and Lahaina Water Treatment Plants are experiencing problems due to heavy rains carrying debris and clogging the intake water lines. As a result, the Maui County Department of Water Supply is asking all consumers in West Maui to please conserve water and avoid any unnecessary water use until further notice. The Department expresses its appreciation to customers for their cooperation and understanding. Please call the 24-hour hotline at 270-7633 if a water-related problem occurs or if there are any questions.
