Hui Noʻeau Brings ‘Recipe for Success’ to South Side

The Hui Noʻeau Visual Arts Center is combining some of Maui’s finest in food, wine and art in what it calls a “recipe for success” on Saturday, Nov. 14 in Wailea.

This is the 9th year for the the Hui Noʻeau Wailea Food and Wine Celebration, which was started to share a small piece of the Hui with South Maui patrons, and expand community through the arts. It’s now become a tradition and the Hui Noʻeau’s signature benefit, or “friendraiser,” to helps to spread the word about the nonprofit arts center’s mission to unlock creativity through exceptional visual arts education. The Hui also works to enhance this endeavor through the preservation of the historic Kaluanui Estate in Makawao.

The event runs from from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Anuhea Room at Hotel Wailea. The evening features a silent auction and generous tastes by the island’s top chefs and vintners. Participants will enjoy a wide selection of wines paired specifically with the chefs’ menus to complement each dish.

MauiWine at Ulupalakua Vineyards will provide the wine tastings, while chefs from restaurants like a MiGRANT, Cuatro, Kaʻana Kitchen, Three’s Bar & Grill will craft the food.
