Island Air Offers ‘Two Bags Free Shopping Spree’

Island shoppers and hoppers can save with the return of Island Air’s “two bags free shopping spree” promotion.

Starting at $99*, travelers can fly roundtrip to and from O‘ahu, Maui and Lāna‘i, check two bags at no charge, and add a rental car from National or Alamo for 20% off the regular rate.

To qualify for the “two bags free shopping spree” promotion, flights must be booked online by Nov. 19 for travel Dec. 1 through 17.

As part of its 35th anniversary celebration, Island Air waived bag fees on the first checked bag for kama‘āina during the month of November, as a demonstration of its commitment to providing economical and quality interisland air travel experience.

Earlier this month, Island Air announced its plans to release its on-time performance and flight completion data for each month and quarter, in order to provide its customers with a clear picture of its improving operational performance and the increasing quality of its service on all of its interisland flights.

For September 2015, 83.3 percent of Island Air’s scheduled flights arrived on time, and 80.4 percent arrived on time during the third quarter of 2015.
