The 50-meter pool at the Kīhei Aquatic Center will close on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, for Phase 1 of structural repairs and renovations.
The pool is expected to remain closed for six months, and is scheduled to reopen on June 30, 2016.
County officials say the training pool and locker rooms at the facility will remain open throughout a majority of the duration of the repairs.
Global Specialty Contractors, Inc. will be performing the work and informational signs have been posted advising the community and pool users of the closure.
