Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are overhead to double overhead in the morning with a slow fading trend through the day.
West: Wrap from the northwest swell fades today. Spots with northern exposure could get up to overhead or even double overhead early in the day.
South: Wave heights are waist high or less today out of the south-southwest. Many spots will be flat.
Our current northwest swell will continue to gradually fade and has dropped below advisory levels. Another large northwest swell is expected to arrive Sunday night and likely pushing surf heights back into advisory levels for north and west facing shores of most islands through early next week.
Not much expected out of the SPAC the next few days. A possible small swell could fill in February 8th.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
