The Shops at Wailea Appoints New Marketing Director

The Shops at Wailea has appointed Hue Oldham as its director of marketing.

She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her new position; she has worked in the luxury hospitality world in a multitude of capacities prior to joining The Shops.

She managed the marketing and public relations efforts of The Royal Hawaiian Hotel, and The Kahala Hotel and Resort in Honolulu.

Most recently, she opened the very first Bloomingdales in Hawai‘i, located at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu.

Prior to her work on Oahu, Oldham enjoyed a 12-year tenure in operations, and public relations and marketing management positions at The St. Regis Princeville Resort on Kaua‘i. Her wealth of experience and impressive career in luxury operations makes her a tremendous asset in representing luxury brands.

As director of marketing, she develops and implements new marketing strategies to strengthen relationships with The Shops’ resort partners and community organizations. Communication, product marketing and the development of new promotions and special events will also fall within Oldham’s realm of responsibilities.
