Police Release Surveillance Image in Kahului Burglary, Seek Public Help

Maui Police released surveillance images today saying they are seeking the public’s help in identifying an unknown person wanted for an alleged burglary in Kahului.

Police say on Tuesday, March 15, during the early morning hours, the unknown person allegedly entered a Kahului business via forced entry and removed cash and items from within.

The individual appeared to be in their early 30’s and was seen carrying crowbars, two of which have been recovered, according to police reports.

The case has been classified as a second degree burglary.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Maui Police Department at (808) 244-6400.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Maui police at (808) 244-6400, Crime Stoppers at (808) 242-6966, or call 911 if it is an emergency.
