South Maui Water Service Interruption: Tuesday, May 10

The Maui Department of Water Supply advises customers that there will be an interruption in water service for customers in the Maui Meadows area of South Maui on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.  The service interruption is due to waterline repairs and will begin at 8 a.m., and may continue for up to six hours.

Customers may wish to store water in preparation for this time period and to adjust schedules as appropriate. Department officials say traffic will not be impacted.

Boundaries for the affected area includes the following:

• Boundaries makai of Piʻilani Highway, going east to west is inclusive of Kapili Street and Okolani Drive to the Highway, and going north to south, not inclusive, is Ponana Street to Wailea Gateway Center.
• Boundaries mauka of Piʻilani Highway, going north to south is inclusive of Mapu Drive, Hoʻomua Drive, Makamae Place, Luana Place, Nahenahe Place to Hoala Drive and Kumulani Drive.
• Boundaries going east to west is inclusive of Waileia Place, Kuaua Place, and Malina Place to the Highway.
