Maui Crime, June 19–25: Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 25 burglaries, 20 vehicle thefts, and 10 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period, between June 19 and 25, 2016.

The number of vehicle thefts was up with 20 incidents reported compared to the 12 incidents reports a week earlier. The incidents were reported in Honokawai, Kahului, Kihei, Lahiana, Makawao, Pa‘ia and Wailuku.

Burglary incidents were up to 25 from the 22 incidents reported the week before.

Vehicle break-ins were down to 10 from 14 incidents reported the week before.

The greatest number was in Lahaina with three incidents reported over seven days.
