The second phase of the Kīhei Bikeway is located on the mauka shoulder area from Līpoa Street and ends at Halekūʻai Street. This portion connects to the initial phase of the bikeway at Līpoa Street and continues on to East Waipuilani Road.

The entire length of the path is approximately 4,000 feet and passes by the Piʻilani Village Shopping Center, the Kīhei Aquatic Center, Kīhei Elementary School, Lokelani Intermediate School, and culminates at the South Maui Regional Park.

The public is invited to take part in the blessing and join in a bike ride on the new path following the ceremony.
