The state Department of Transportation will be conducting a number of road projects on Maui during the period ending Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016.

Department officials say lane closure scheduled may change at any time without further notice.  All projects are weather permitting.

HAʻIKŪ

Hāna Highway: (Weekend/Night Work24/7 lane closure on Hāna Highway in the vicinity of Mile 13, on Friday, Sept. 30, through Friday, Oct. 7, for slope stabilization work. Traffic will be contra-flowed through the open lane.

Hāna Highway:  Roving lane closures on Hāna Highway in both directions between Huelo Lookout and Keʻanae Road on Tuesday, Sept. 27, through Friday, Sept. 30, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for road maintenance.

KEʻANAE

Hāna Highway: (Weekend/Night WorkLeft lane closure on Hāna Highway in the eastbound direction between the Garden of Eden Arboretum and Keʻanae Road on Friday, Sept. 30, through Friday, Oct. 7, over a 24-hour period, for roadway improvements.

Nāhiku

Hāna Highway: Left lane closure on Hāna Highway in the westbound direction in the vicinity of Mile 25 on Monday, Oct. 3, through Friday, Oct. 7, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for road repairs.

KAHULUI

Kūihelani Highway: (Weekend/Night Work) Left lane closure on Kuihelani Highway in the northbound direction between Honoapiʻilani Highway and Puʻunēnē Avenue on Friday, Sept. 30, through Friday, Oct. 7, over a 24-hour period, for paving work.

Kaʻahumanu Avenue: (Weekend/Night Work) Lane closure on Kaʻahumanu Avenue in the westbound direction between Hāna Highway and Kahului Beach Road on Friday night, Sept. 30, through Saturday morning, Oct. 1, and on Tuesday night, Oct. 4, through Saturday morning, Oct. 8, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for utility installations.
