A High Surf Advisory is posted for the north side of Maui through 6 a.m. Thursday. A High Surf Warning is expected to pop up for the next swell building this afternoon.

Light winds will continue across most of the island chain through Saturday night. A rather stable convective weather pattern means we will see afternoon clouds and spotty showers across interior and leeward spots, followed by clearing at night. Trade winds are forecast to rebuild on Sunday and could become breezy and gusty on Monday.
Partly cloudy with afternoon clouds building and isolated showers for leeward and interior areas. Partly cloudy for the windward side as well. High temperatures from 82° to 87° but feeling warmer due to the heat index. Variable winds up to 15 mph.
