Santa will be making a grand entrance at two spots along the South Maui shoreline on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2016.

The first arrival, hosted by the Grand Wailea, will take place on Wailea Beach fronting the hotel.

The public is invited to meet Santa as he arrives by Hawaiian outrigger canoe, between 9 and 11 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn where he is available to take photos.

The event is complimentary and open to the public.

Then between noon and 2 p.m., Santa is expected to arrive via outrigger canoe with Mrs. Claus and a few of their elves to Polo Beach.

The event, hosted by the Fairmont Kea Lani also features photos upon his arrival.  There will also be arts & crafts, ornament making and letters to Santa available between 2 and 3 p.m. at the Paeahu Terrace; cookie decorating from 3 to 4 p.m.; and storytime with Mrs. Claus from 5 to 5:30 p.m.
