Maui Athletes Named to Girls Soccer State All-Tournament Team
Two Maui athletes were named to the Queen’s Medical Center Soccer State Championship All-Tournament Team (as selected by the HHSAA, media and coaches). Skylar Littlefield of Baldwin made the Division I team and Makena Dougherty of Seabury was named to the Division II team.
Baldwin fell to Castle in the fifth place semifinal with a final of 3-0. In the quarterfinal game against Pearl City, Littlefield scored Baldwin’s only goal as the Bears fell to Pearl City 2-1.
Maui’s Seabury Hall finished in 3rd place in the Division II bracket, defeating Pac-Five 1-0, with Ellyanna Swarts scoring the team’s only goat at 18 minutes into the game. Seabury finishes the season with a (6-7-1)record.
