“Hawaiʻi continues to have the highest average statewide price in the US, but at the moment supplies are adequate and there’s not a lot of upward price pressure,” said AAA Hawaiʻi General Manager Liane Sumida. “However, if prices follow their usual pattern, we can expect more increases in the next few months.”

AAA Hawaiʻi advises motorists to save fuel by regularly checking their tire pressure, properly maintaining their vehicles, taking excess weight out of the trunk, and shopping around virtually for the lowest gas prices with the free AAA Mobile app, which shows the cheapest gas price nearest to them right on the home screen.
