The awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Hawaiʻi and the nation. Selection is based on a comprehensive review of each organization’s benefits, career development, training and retention as well as feedback from employees through an extensive survey.

Imua received their 2017 award on Thursday, March 30, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Oʻahu in a ceremony honoring all the companies who were given the award.

“I love to come to work because there is always something new and exciting to look forward to. I get to witness the changes each week that happen to the kids who visit us. Imua’s “Play it Forward” philosophy really does work and I get to see the progress in their development, which is very rewarding,” says Front Desk Manager, Jessica Snow.
