The 12th annual Da Kidney Da Kine Day event will take place on Saturday, April 15, at the Queen Kaʻahumanu Center.

The National Kidney Foundation of Hawaiʻi will provide free screenings for blood pressure, glucose, blood draw and urine testing followed by a consultation with a medical provider to review your results. Participants must be 18 or older for a screening.

The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes entertainment by Pat Simmons, Jr., Grammy nominated Peter Kater, Auntie Doll and her hula Halau and Al Nip, as well as drawings for great prizes and keiki activities.

Da Kidney Da Kine Day is also hosting representatives from the Lions Club, American Red Cross, Legacy of Life, HMSA, Maui Hospice, Organ Transplant Maui, Heart Booth by Maui Memorial Medical Center, Maui Adult Day Care and Senior Medicare Patrol.
