Maui Crime, April 2–8: Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 13 burglaries, 9 vehicle thefts and 23 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from April 2-8, 2017.

Burglaries were down 13%, with 13 incidents reported over the seven day period, down from the 15 burglaries reported the week before. Vehicle thefts were down 36% from the week before when 14 incidents were reported; and vehicle break-ins were up 43.5% from 16 break-ins reported last week.

Of the nine vehicles reported stolen, three have since been recovered.
