Maui Crime, June 11–17 : Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 15 burglaries, 15 vehicle thefts and nine vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from June 11-17, 2017.

Burglaries were up 7%, with 15 incidents reported over the seven day period, up from the 14 burglaries reported the week before. Vehicle thefts were up 114% from the week before when seven incidents were reported; and vehicle break-ins were down 66% from the 27 break-ins reported last week.

Of the 15 vehicles reported stolen, four have since been recovered.
