Maui Crime, June 18–24 : Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 10 burglaries, 22 vehicle thefts and 21 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from June 18-24, 2017.

Burglaries were down 33%, with 10 incidents reported over the seven day period, down from the 15 burglaries reported the week before. Vehicle thefts were up 47% from the week before when 15 incidents were reported; and vehicle break-ins were up 133% from the nine break-ins reported last week.

Of the 22 vehicles reported stolen, eight have since been recovered.
