OHA Hosts Maui Kuleana Lands & Genealogy Workshop

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs hosts and exclusive workshop on Kuleana Lands and Genealogy on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017 on Maui.

PC: Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Ka ʻĀhaʻilono.

OHA’s Genealogist & Kuleana Tax Exempt Specialist, Luci Meyer will lead the discussion.

Those in attendance will learn how to research and build their ʻohana genealogical record. Attendees will also learn about kuleana land titles by accessing documents from the Hawaiʻi State Archives, Bureau of Conveyances, and Survey Department of the Department of Land and Natural Resources.

Two workshops will cover both kuleana lands and genealogy together.  Dates and times are as follows:

Friday, Sept. 15, 2017 at the OHA Maui office, 33 Lono Avenue, Ste 480.

  • Session 1: 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Session 2: 1:30 to 3 p.m.
