Maui Crime Aug. 27-Sept. 2, 2017: Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 14 burglaries, 12 vehicle thefts and 15 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from Aug. 27 – Sept. 2, 2017.

Burglaries were down 30%, with 14 incidents reported over the seven day period, down from the 20 burglaries reported the week before. Vehicle thefts were down 8% from the week before when 13 incidents were reported; and vehicle break-ins were down 25% from the 20 break-ins reported last week.

Of the 12 vehicles reported stolen, three have since been recovered.
