Down the Hatch Connect Four Tournament Benefit for Maui Food Bank

The public is invited to participate in a Connect Four Tournament at Down the Hatch in Lahaina, a  benefit for the Maui Food Bank, on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Cash and canned food donations at the door are welcome; there is no cover charge.

Registration starts at 9 p.m. for the Connect Four Tournament, the games begin at 10 p.m. with DJ Quick.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the tournament winner and for the largest food donation.

If you can’t make the tournament, there are other ways to contribute to the food drive.

Down the Hatch, the Maui Food Bank and 99.9 KISS FM will team up through Sept. 24, 2017 for the Battle of the Business Food & Fund Drive.

Or, come Down the Hatch for lunch and bring your donation for the Maui Food Bank.

The following prizes will be awarded for food items.

  • 1 Non-perishable Food Item – Free Mini Shave Ice from Breakwall Shave Ice Co.
  • 5 Non-Perishable Food Items – Free Lava Lava Shrimp
  • 10 Non-Perishable Food Items – Free Tacos
  • 20 Non-Perishable Food items – Free DTH T-shirt

You must present non-perishable food to redeem a prize. This award cannot be combined with any other discount or offer. There is a limit of one coupon per table. It cannot be used on a holiday or during special events. No cash back; one time per day. Expires Sept. 24, 2017.

Help them reach their goal of 6,000 pounds of food or $6,000 by making a donation at the restaurant or online.
