Maui Crime Sept. 17-23, 2017: Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 26 burglaries, 10 vehicle thefts and 22 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from Sept. 17-23, 2017.

Burglaries decreased 7% from the week before when 28 incidents were reported over the seven day period. Vehicle thefts were down 9% from the week before when 11 incidents were reported; and vehicle break-ins increased 22% from the 18 break-ins reported last week.

Of the 10 vehicle thefts, four have since been recovered.
