Swell Summary
Outlook through Thursday May 31: Surf will remain below advisory levels along all shores through at least the middle of next week. A series of swells from the Tasman Sea will keep surf along south facing shores near the summertime average. Rough surf along east facing shores will subside early next week as trade winds weaken.
Surf heights are forecast heights of the face, or front, of waves. The surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the average height of the one third largest waves, at the locations of the largest breakers. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near any surf zone.

Surf: Waist high NNE short period wind swell.
Conditions: Sideshore/choppy with E winds 15-20mph in the morning increasing to 20-25mph in the afternoon.
South

Surf: Knee to waist high SSW long period swell.
Conditions: Semi glassy/semi bumpy with WNW winds less than 5mph in the morning shifting WSW for the afternoon.
West

Surf: Small scale (ankle to knee high) surf.
Conditions: Clean with E winds 15-20mph in the morning shifting ENE 20-25mph in the afternoon.
