On The Menu at Pineapple Grill in Kapalua
Pineapple Grill may be overlooking the Bay Course in Kapalua, but golfers certainly aren’t the only ones who can enjoy the great food, creative drinks and stunning views!
The restaurant recently shifted to new hours, now open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for lunch and happy hour (3 to 5 p.m.). It’s still offering its popular Wine Wednesdays: half-off on selected bottle of wine all day and specials on wine by the glass. For groups, the restaurant has a couple of private dining rooms available for no extra charge: Aloha Room, mainly geared toward eight to 12, and a private room for up to 40.
The newly-revamped menu includes appetizers like ceviche, coconut prawns, steamers and poke bowls; salads, sandwiches and entrées that include a seared Ahi plate, hone-dipped chicken and steak frites. There’s also a range of wines and beer, along with a few signature cocktails. Those enjoying the bar can also watch sports packages on a total of eight flat-screen TVs, playing Golf Channel, NFL Direct and more.
Chef William Laborte is from the West side and says he loves cooking close to home and family. The kitchen sources much of its ingredients locally.
“We need to show our customers and everybody else that we want to do things fresh and make it very flavorful,” explains Laborte. “I’m very proud of what we do here at the Pineapple Grill.”
