Maui Firefighters Respond to Kula House Fire on Kamila Street

Maui firefighters responded to reports of a house fire on Kamila Street in Kula on Monday afternoon.
The incident was reported at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018,
Upon arrival on scene, crews found a single story cottage with heavy fire established mainly in the garage.

Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire and confirm there were no occupants within the structure.
Engine 13 (Kula), Engine 10 (Kahului), and a Battalion Chief responded.
There were no injuries to report and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
