July 24, 2018 Surf Forecast
Swell Summary
Outlook through Tuesday July 31: A slight increase in trade wind swell and a small short period northeast swell will give a modest bump to north and east facing shores today and Wednesday. The current long period south swell will continue to drop today and will return to small background levels Wednesday through the weekend. No other significant swells are expected through early next week.
Surf heights are forecast heights of the face, or front, of waves. The surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the average height of the one third largest waves, at the locations of the largest breakers. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near any surf zone.
