New Website Showcases Maui’s Growing Vegan Community

A new website showcasing Maui’s growing vegan community has gone live. MauiVeganLife.com features local vegan-focused news, recipes, a food guide and more.

“Our mission is to strengthen the vibrant and growing Maui vegan community by serving as a clearinghouse for local news, businesses, events, resources, personalities and perspectives,” says Chris M. Brock, co-founder of MauiVeganLife.com.

Concept creators describe themselves as  “pragmatic visionaries, willing to embrace imaginative approaches to advance health, the humane treatment of animals and environmental sustainability.”

As it builds a library of vegan recipes, MauiVeganLife.com will expand its content in the coming months, and invites the community to get involved.

“We welcome feedback, news tips, Hawaiian vegan recipes and suggestions for articles,” Brock notes. “If you are a Maui resident or frequent visitor, we encourage you to send us your ideas using the contact page in the website.”
