US Representative Tulsi Gabbard visited small businesses and workers on Maui on Monday, Aug. 6, 2018.

Among her stops was at the local woman-owned small business, the Choice Health Bar, which recently opened its newest location in Pāʻia.

The congresswoman talked with co-owner Kathryn Dahm and her staff about how Choice is working to source local and sustainable ingredients and improve access to fresh and healthy food for the Maui community.

She also visited with working men and women at the Grand Wailea Resort in South Maui. Congresswoman Gabbard visited with workers during their lunch break to talk story, hear their concerns, and answer questions about what’s happening in Congress.
