Crews with the Maui Department of Water Supply personnel are currently working to repair a waterline break in Māʻalaea, Maui.
The break does not appear to be related to Hurricane Lane.
Residents and businesses in the area are expected to be without water until approximately 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018.
Once water service is restored this afternoon, customers may want to flush their waterlines to remove any sediment that may have accumulated during the repair.
Traffic is not affected.
