Residents in Honokōhau Valley, West Maui are urged to conserve water due to power failure in Kapalua.

The Department of Water Supply cannot fill the tank that feeds Honokōhau.

DWS personnel will try to hook up a portable generator today so that water may be pumped into the system.

Customers in the Valley should use water for health and safety purposes only until Lane passes and services are restored to normal.
