Kaiser Permanente Adds New Physicians on Maui

Five distinguished doctors have recently joined Kaiser Permanente Hawai‘i facilities on Maui. They add to Kaiser Permanente’s staff of more than 600 health care providers, serves more than 255,000 members in Hawai‘i.

Kaiser Permanente’s new Maui physicians are:

Thomas DeLeon, MD, practices hematology and oncology at Kaiser Permanente Wailuku Medical Office. He earned his medical degree at the University of Hawai‘i, John A. Burns School of Medicine, and completed his internal medicine residency through the University of Hawai‘i Internal Medicine Residency Program, serving as chief resident. Dr. DeLeon also completed a hematology and oncology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.

Hannah Litt, CNM, joins the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Kaiser Permanente Wailuku Medical Office as a certified nurse-midwife. She received her Master of Science in nursing midwifery from the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. Litt has worked as a nurse-midwife at Women’s Health Center of Oregon in Oregon City, Oregon; Women’s Health Today in Portland, Oregon; and Kaiser Permanente Northwest Full Scope Westside Medical Center inHillsboro, Oregon. She is a certified registered nurse and nurse practitioner, and a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.

Kyle Mouery, MD, practices family medicine at Kaiser Permanente Lahaina Clinic. He earned his medical degree from Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, and completed the Providence Oregon Family Medicine Residency Program in Portland, Oregon. Prior to his appointment at Lahaina Clinic, he has served as a locum tenens family medicine physician for the Hawai‘i Permanente Medical Group, providing acute care and primary care services at Kaiser Permanente facilities in Maui County.

Jinmeng Zhang, MD, joins the department of dermatology at Kaiser Permanente Wailuku Medical Office. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Zhang completed her dermatology residency at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, serving as chief resident.

May Zhang, MD, practices dermatology at Kaiser Permanente Wailuku Medical Office. She received her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, where she also completed her dermatology residency, serving as chief resident.
