Maui Woman Falls 25-Feet Down Cliff, Found Clinging to Tree

A Maui woman was rescued at Maliko Gulch on Wednesday evening after falling 25-feet down a cliff. Maui fire officials say the woman was found clinging to a tree with a 100 foot drop below.
The incident was reported at 6:57 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018.
Maui firefighters were called to the scene for reports of a fisherman who fell off the cliff.
Upon arrival on scene, crews from Engine 2 out of Pāʻia and Rescue 10 out of Kahului found the individual on the east side of Maliko Gulch.
Crews used a rope system to quickly secure and raise the woman to safety.

The 35 year old Maui woman was evaluated by Medics and declined any medical attention.
