UH Mānoa Moves up in Ranking
The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa recently moved up two spots in the 2019 Times Higher Education World University Ranking. UH Mānoa advanced from 63 to 61 in the nation, the highest it has ranked in the Timesʻ annual ranking.
“UH Mānoa is gratified by our continuous upward movement on the Times Higher Education ranking, especially in the realm of research that so positively impacts Hawaiʻi and the world,” said David Lassner, the UH Mānoa interim chancellor.
Times Higher Education is the only company that ranks research-intensive universities based on core missions like teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook, according to the director of communications at UH Mānoa.
More information on the universityʻs rankings can be found on the Mānoa Institutional Research Office website.
