Body Found on Shoreline Near Kahakuloa

Maui firefighters were called to the Ohai Trail in the Kahakuloa area for reports of a body found on the shoreline.
The discovery was made by a diver at approximately 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018.
Rescue 10 aboard Air 1 was able to locate the body and airlifted it to a landing zone near the highway.

At this time, MFD has no information to release regarding the identity of the victim or circumstances leading up to the incident.
