MCCC Furlough Inmate Gregory Anthony Fails to Return

Maui Community Correctional Center work furlough inmate Gregory Anthony failed to return from work at his scheduled return time of 7 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2019.  Maui Police were notified.

Anthony is 26-years old, is 5’10” tall and weighs 170 lbs.  He has blond hair and blue eyes. He is serving time for second degree theft, credit card theft, credit card fraud, first degree burglary and unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle. His parole hearing was scheduled for July 2020.

Anthony is a community custody inmate in the furlough program with pass privileges.  Community custody is the lowest classification status.  Police say Anthony had been working in the Kīhei area while participating in the work furlough program.

Anthony faces an additional escape charge when found.

If seen, the public is asked to call 9-1-1 or Sheriffs at (808) 586-1352.
