Wailuku First Friday presents “May Day is Lei Day in Wailuku” on May 3, 2019 from 6 to 9 p.m. on historic Market Street.

Wailuku First Friday “Lei Day in Wailuku” will be held on Historic Market Street on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 6 to 9 p.m. PC: Maui Friday Town Parties.

This free family event will present live music and entertainment, art, local shopping and a variety of food and drink options.

On the Maui Thing Stage Desmond Yap will perform from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Nā Wai ʻEha will perform from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

At the Banyan Tree Stage, the United States Airforce Band of the Pacific will perform from 6 to 9 p.m.

After hours entertainment “Fresh Cuts: Sushi and Sounds” will be provided by DJs Jay P. & Joralien at Umi restaurant from 8 to 11 p.m.

At Kipuka Square, a Hawaiian Voyaging and Navigation Exhibit will present Hawaiian star identification, hand calibration pole, voyager image showcase and knot tying demonstrations.

A free Kui A Lei Workshop (lei making) hosted by Haku Maui at Friends & Faire will be open to the first 200 guests.
