MEO Receives Two New Buses for Lānaʻi and Hāna

Maui Economic Opportunity, Inc. was granted two new buses last fiscal year, which were recently delivered to the rural communities of Lānaʻi and Hāna.

Each bus was received by the community and blessed before their respective inaugural road trips.

“All of MEO’s clients who ride the buses were so thrilled to be the first to ride,” organization executives said. Debbie Cabebe, CEO of MEO said, “Rural communities are in desperate need of reliable transportation. These buses help to fulfill that need.”

MEO executives extended thanks to former Mayor Alan Arakawa and the Maui County Council for granting the funds to replace the buses.
