“The Energy Information Administration’s weekly report showed that West Coast gasoline stocks increased by approximately 2.4 million barrels from the previous week and now sit at 30.8 million barrels. The current level is only 300,000 barrels less than last year’s level at this time, which could cause prices to decline if there are no supply challenges in the region this week,” said Liane Sumida, AAA Hawaiʻi general manager.
