Maui Police Investigate Woman’s Death in Lahaina

Maui police detectives are looking into what caused the death of a Maui woman, whose body was found in her truck on the night of July 5th in Lahaina.
Police discovered the body after being called to investigate a suspicious person at the Lahaina Sports Bar, located at 843 Waineʻe Street at 11:36 p.m. Officers discovered the body and initially classified it as an unattended death.
Maui police said no further details are available at this time because the case is pending investigation. An autopsy has been scheduled.
