Amy Hānaialiʻi to Perform at the MACC

Tickets now are now on sale for A Celebration of Kalawaiʻanui, a concert featuring Grammy nominee and Nā Hōkū Hanohano award winner Amy Hānaialiʻi. 

The concert will be held on Aug. 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center McCoy Studio Theatre. 

According to the MACC, the concert will introduce the audience to the stories that inspired Hānaialiʻiʻs most recent album Kalawaiʻanui. 

Waimea-based Hawaiian cultural group Hālau Nā Kīpuʻupuʻu will also perform at the event. A pop-up shop featuring Designs by Kamohoaliʻi will be open before and after the concert. 

Event proceeds will go to Moʻokiha o Piʻilani, the traditional voyaging canoe built on Maui. 

Ticket costs range from $35, $45, to $65, plus applicable fees. A pre-show meet and greet will be available for an additional fee.
