The Manaʻolana Pink Paddlers canoe club will host a free paddling play day for families who have been affected by cancer.

The event will be held on Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon at Maui Canoe Club beach.

Families and their keiki will get to enjoy canoe paddling, beach games, craft projects, and a picnic lunch.

The paddling portion of the program is intended for children from 8 to 12 years old. Other activities, such as boogie boarding, corn hole bean bag tossing, and t-shirt making will be available for younger children.
